Magalomania
Magalomania is a twist on the word megalomania which is described as a mental illness or "madness" characterized by an inflated sense of self-worth. A megalomaniac exhibits a strong desire for power, wealth, and control over others. These personality traits in a position of power have led to fascist and authoritarian rule in extreme cases. Kings and emperors such as Alexander the Great and Napoleon were famous for this behavior.

Hero or villain? Uncle Sam holding the burning constitution is an artistic expression that can be interpreted in several ways. The intention is to portray Uncle Sam as an icon of American government from the perspective of the founding fathers. He does not represent any individual currently in office. Occupants come and go while Uncle Sam endures. He is in distress that the constitution has been violated and is urging a call to action by the American people to STOP THE MADNESS.

principles
As American constitutionalists, we maintain an awareness of conditions, actions, and threats to the foundations and boundaries established by the founding fathers. Institutions have been effectively seized and purged. The three branches of government are no longer separate as set forth in the Constitution and are functioning under the oversight and control of the Executive Branch. The intended checks and balances, guardrails against any of the branches gaining too much power, are gone. Breaches of the Constitution and the rule of law are ignored. Individual rights and challenges to those in power are met with threats, coercion, and punishment. Freedom of speech and of the press have been suppressed, due process subverted, and emolument clauses violated. It is now up to We the People to restore balance through the powers vested in us.
